(regress this with feet on the floor, still working strong controlled pull and transition with as little assistance as possible)

Minute 3 – Unbroken Double-Unders x 50 reps
Same as last week…see if you can improve upon last week’s results.
B.
Every 90 seconds, for 15 minutes (10 sets):
Split Jerk x 1 rep
Loads per set (by %): 55, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 95+, 95+
C.
Strict Overhead Press
* Set 1 – 5 reps @ 80-85% of 1-RM

(yep, we practice these every week…they need to be viewed as a rest station for you in a conditioning workout)
B.
Every two minutes, for 16 minutes (8 sets):
Push Jerk + Split Jerk
(Pause for 2-3 seconds in the split jerk receiving position before recovering.)
Rest 2 minutes
Goal is to use heaviest 2-3 loads from last week for all 8 sets.
C.
Strict Overhead Press
* Set 1 – 5 reps @ 75%
* Set 2 – 5 reps @ 80%
* Set 3 – 4 reps @ 85%
* Set 4 – 3 reps @ 90%
* Set 5 – 2 reps @ 95%
Rest 2 minutes between sets.
D.
Five sets for times of:
Run 400 Meters
5 Ground to Overhead (185/135 lbs)
5 Bar Muscle-Ups
10 Strict Handstand Push-Ups
Rest 2 minutes
If a set is taking you more than 4 minutes, you need to scale it back and keep your time under 4 minutes for each set.

(these should be slow and controlled)
Minute 2 – Handstand Hold x 45 seconds
(freestanding, or working toward it by using a spotter or a wall and slowly trying to find balance points for the 45 seconds)
Minute 3 – Hollow Hold x 35 seconds
B.
Every two minutes, for 16 minutes (8 sets):
Push Press + Push Jerk + Split Jerk
(Pause for 2-3 seconds in the split jerk receiving position before recovering.)
Rest 2 minutes
Build over the course of the 8 sets.
C.
One set of:
Strict Overhead Press x 10 reps @ 65-70% of 1-RM
D.
5 Rounds
2:00 On 1 min rest
Run 200 then max double unders.
E.
2-3 Sets Max Muscle Ups or muscle up progression

Skin the Cat x 4-6 reps
Butterfly Pull-Ups x 12 reps
(simply working on speed and efficiency)
B.
Five sets of:
Push Press + Push Jerk + Jerk
Rest as needed
C.
For the following three segments, post three separate times, but leave the clock running:
For time:
Row 2000 Meters or Run 1 Mile for time.
When the clock reaches 10 minutes, complete the following for time:
10 Muscle-Ups
20 Burpees
30 Double-Unders
40 Ring Dips
30 Double-Unders
20 Burpees
10 Muscle-Ups
When the clock reaches 20 minutes, complete the following for time:
Row 2000 Meters or Run 1 Mile for time
If you fail to make the time cap for any portion, simply proceed straight through into the next session without rest. Of course, you’re encouraged to modify as needed if you know that muscle-ups or ring dips will prohibit you from finishing in a reasonable time.

Work as heavy as possible here. Build to something that feels like a heavy triple before you start the clock, and then try to hold that load for triples for all five sets.

The Case Against NSAIDs Written By Calvin Sun When I was in the Army, the panacea for all ailments was a couple of 800mg ibuprofen and a canteen of water. We called it “Ranger Candy” or “Vitamin M” and we joked that all the Army doctors graduated from the Motrin School of Medicine. In college, I learned that the old RICE acronym (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) is sometimes spelled with an extra “I”… as in ibuprofen. My guess is that you have been told to take ibuprofen at some point in your life by a doctor, athletic trainer, or coach.
